What will you learn?

This course is certificated with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and has been developed to benefit those working in a supervisory position to ensure that they can acquire the knowledge and skills required to undertake their health and safety responsibilities.

Course Content

Split into modules the course covers the major areas of health and safety:

  • Introduction to health and safety
  • Legislation
  • Accidents in the workplace
  • Ill health in the workplace
  • Health & safety organisation and management
  • The role of supervisors

This is an accredited course with the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority.


The candidates are assessed by an examination paper consisting of 60 multiple choice questions to be completed in two hours.

The course is to be held at our office: Gordon House, Charles Street, Halifax, HX1 1NA. This is a three-day course, date and time to be confirmed.


The course costs £237 +VAT.

The course includes all course materials and notes / handouts. Tea and coffee on arrival and during break times.
